Please consider making an additional donation for our race charity, All 4 Autism. The idea of an autism support group for the Pee Dee area began in 2005.
Two moms of children with autism discussed the need for a place to learn more about the disorder and to share their experiences. Over the years, the number of affected individuals continued to grow rapidly, but support and resources were still hard to find in our area.
In February of 2016, Jessica Brown and Amy Pennington joined All 4 Autism as the first hired staff for the organization. They shared the vision of opening an Autism Resource Center. As mothers of children with autism, they wanted to provide a place where families could find the support and resources they so desperately needed.
On April 25, 2017, we celebrated the opening of the Autism Resource Center of the Pee Dee- the first and only in the region. The center hosts various support programs, workshops and referral services, which are all free to the public. Want to help even more by fundraising for All 4 Autism?
